ABSOLUTE EXPOSURE – TRANCING
This intensive 1 day (5 hours) workshop is an exploration of Luciani’s Absolute Theater Technique and the Absolute Universe as exposed in the concept of TRANCING, an Absolute Theater Production.
In the first third of the workshop, the Absolute Technique and its applications in movement and voice work will be introduced. After, performers will be encouraged to explore and create either solo or group performances based on the theme of TRANCING: the trance-like state performers, athletes, etc. sometimes experience during performing. The workshop will end with the presentation of the group performances.
This workshop is aimed not only at seasoned MALE performers, dancers, acrobats, but also at just passionate MEN looking to liberate their voice through theater.
There is no fee to participate in this workshop. Workshop will be limited to 10 male artists. Either a group or individual interview/audition is required. Participants must be comfortable with nudity, sexual themes and working with an all-male group.
